What we have, and what is still coming.

We are one household with a fixed number of birds, so everything here is capped. Getting on this list is how you hold your place for whichever of these you want.

Thanksgiving 2027

Turkeys

We keep a few turkeys already and plan to raise them to sell in time for Thanksgiving 2027. There will not be many, and this list is how we will decide who gets one.

Tell us on the form and we will keep you posted.

Sometime in 2027

Honey

We expect to have our own honey in 2027, possibly not until the fall. We are not going to pretend to know the month yet.

Tick the box and you will hear about it first.

Acknowledgement

Please read this and tick the box. We cannot put any household on the list, deliver anything or hand anything over at a pickup without it.

  1. These are nest run eggs. They are unwashed and ungraded, sold exactly as they came from the nest box. They are not washed, sanitized, candled, sized or graded, and they are not inspected by any state or federal egg grading program.
  2. Poultry and eggs from a small producer are not inspected the way a supermarket's are. Any chicken or turkey we sell you is raised and prepared under a small-producer exemption, on our own property, and does not carry a USDA or state mark of inspection.
  3. Raw eggs and raw poultry carry an inherent risk. Both can carry bacteria, including Salmonella and Campylobacter, and can cause foodborne illness. That risk cannot be eliminated by us or by anyone else.
  4. You agree to store and cook everything properly. Refrigerate eggs promptly on arrival and cook them until the yolk and white are firm. Keep poultry cold, cook it to a safe internal temperature all the way through, and do not cross-contaminate your kitchen. Do not serve any of it raw or undercooked to young children, adults over 65, pregnant people, or anyone with a weakened immune system.
  5. Deliveries are left unattended. Orders are left at your door on your route day, at a time we do not guarantee, without a signature. Once it is delivered, keeping it safe is up to you. We are not responsible for anything left out in the heat, taken by animals, or removed by someone else.
  6. You accept the risk and release us from liability. By joining, you accept the risks above on behalf of your household and release Granite Homestead LLC, dba The Prescott Egg Club, along with its members and drivers, from any claim, loss or damage arising from your purchase, handling, storage, preparation or consumption of anything we sell you, except where the law does not permit such a release.
  7. You are 18 or older and authorized to agree to this on behalf of your household.

You must agree to the acknowledgement before we can add you.

By sending this you are joining a list — you are not being charged and nothing is reserved until we email you back. These are nest run eggs: unwashed and ungraded, sold as-is.

A thank-you, planned for 2027

The Thanksgiving turkey drawing

We would rather reward the people who actually stick with us than run a sale. So here is the plan: every household with six or more deliveries on the books by 1 September 2027 goes into a drawing. One household wins one free turkey for Thanksgiving 2027. One turkey, one winner — that is the whole thing.

No purchase beyond your normal deliveries, no entry fee, nothing to sign up for — being a steady customer is the entry. Everyone who qualifies is entered, we draw one name, and we will tell you who won.

Questions

Before you sign up

Am I ordering something right now?

No. This form puts you on our list and starts an email conversation. Nothing is charged and nothing is reserved until we write back and confirm it with you.

How many egg spots are actually open?

A limited number, and we would rather not publish a running count. We only get so many eggs in a day and we will not promise more than the hens produce. Some spots are open now, more open as we get closer to winter, and more again in spring 2027 — after that we are full.

When will the chicken actually be available?

That depends on this list. We raise a limited number of birds a year, and if enough people sign up we can get a batch out before the end of this year. If the numbers are not there, we will run it in spring 2027 instead. Either way we will email you before we order a single chick, and you are not committed to anything by being on the list.

Will you ship to me?

No. Never. It is our own vehicle on our own route, or you pick up by appointment. We deliver around Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey. If you are a bit outside that, put yourself down anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

Do you have discounts?

Now and then we hand out a one-time thank-you discount to somebody who has helped us out. We issue those by name, to that person, on their own account. They are not referral codes and they are not transferable, so there is nothing to enter here. If we have given you one, we already have it on file and we will apply it ourselves.

Why do I have to tick the acknowledgement?

Because we are a household, not an inspected facility, and we would rather be plain about that than bury it. The eggs are unwashed and ungraded, and any poultry we sell is raised under a small-producer exemption without a USDA or state inspection mark. You should know exactly what you are getting before it is on your porch. Here is the long version on the eggs.
